These terms apply to your use of this website and to enquiries and reservations made with Bosmar Game Lodge & Safaris. Please read them before booking. Specific rates, inclusions and cancellation terms are confirmed with you in writing at the time of reservation and, where they differ, those confirmed terms apply.
Enquiries and reservations
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a confirmed booking. A reservation is only confirmed once we have acknowledged it in writing and any required deposit has been received. Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), are subject to availability, and may change until a booking is confirmed.
Deposits and payment
A deposit is generally required to secure a reservation, with the balance due before or on arrival. The exact deposit, payment method and schedule are set out in your booking confirmation.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and amendment terms, including any applicable fees, are provided with your booking confirmation. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all guests. Where we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a reasonable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for the affected services.
Arrival, stay and house rules
Check-in and check-out times, occupancy limits, and lodge house rules are shared before arrival. For the comfort and safety of all guests and our team, we ask that these be respected during your stay.
Safaris, activities and safety
Safaris, game drives, bush walks and other activities take place in a wild environment and carry inherent risks. Guests take part at their own risk and must follow the instructions of our rangers and guides at all times. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Hunting
All hunting is conducted on a fair-chase basis under professional management and in full compliance with South African law, provincial regulations and applicable permits and quotas. Hunters are responsible for holding the relevant permits and for complying with the conditions communicated to them.
Game meat
Game-meat products are supplied subject to availability and applicable food-safety regulations. Any orders or wholesale arrangements are handled by enquiry and confirmed separately.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bosmar is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss or injury arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from a guest’s failure to follow safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, photography, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to Bosmar and may not be reproduced without our permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
